BRAINIX AI ("we", "us") is an early-stage AI study assistant built for students. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account info: your name, email address and profile photo when you sign in with Google or Apple.
- Learning profile: country, curriculum (CBSE, ICSE, GCSE, IB, AP, etc.), grade and subjects you provide during onboarding.
- Usage data: which tools you use (SnapSolve, QuizForge, AskBrain, etc.), daily counts, streaks and XP.
- Content you provide: chat messages, images you upload for solving, and voice input while using the app.
2. How we use your data
- To operate the study features and personalise responses to your curriculum and grade.
- To enforce free-plan daily limits and manage subscription entitlements.
- To improve reliability, fix bugs, and prevent abuse.
3. AI processing
Prompts, images and voice input are sent to trusted AI model providers to generate answers. We do not sell your content and we do not use it to train third-party foundation models beyond generating your response.
4. Sharing
We share limited data with: authentication providers (Google, Apple), our hosting and database provider, and our AI model provider — strictly to operate BRAINIX AI. We do not sell personal data.
5. Retention & deletion
You can delete individual chats at any time from the sidebar. To delete your entire account and associated data, email us at hello@brainixai.com.
6. Children
BRAINIX AI is intended for students aged 13+. If you are under the age required by your country's laws, please use the app with a parent or guardian.
7. Your rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app.
